The Deck and Dealing

Bandar Q uses all 28 tiles of a double-six domino set. At the start of each round, the bandar shuffles and deals two domino cards face-down to every player at the table — including themselves. No extra cards are drawn during the round. The deal is final, and players evaluate their hand from exactly those two tiles.

Scoring Your Hand

To score a hand, add the total pips on both domino tiles and take only the units digit of the result. For example, a tile showing 5|3 combined with a tile showing 4|2 gives a pip count of 14 — which scores as 4. The highest possible standard score is 9. The Bandar vs. Player Outcome

After all hands are revealed simultaneously, each player's hand is compared individually to the bandar's hand. A player who scores higher than the bandar wins a 1:1 payout from the dealer. A player who scores lower loses their stake to the dealer. Special Hands

In a standard onu4d Bandar Q room, the bandar role rotates clockwise after each round, though any player who meets the minimum chip threshold can choose to claim or extend the bandar position. The dealer must hold a chip reserve large enough to cover the combined maximum bet of all players at the table — this is the chief constraint that prevents low-bankroll players from claiming the bandar seat prematurely.

When you play as the bandar at onu4d, you gain the tie-win advantage but absorb the variance of simultaneously playing against up to seven other hands. A single strong round for your opponents can significantly dent your chip stack. Conversely, a round where you hold a 9 or a Balak and all opponents score lower is enormously profitable — you collect from every seat at once.
